So, I had planned a fab date night and I felt like I had nothing to wear, so off to the thrift store I went! I found these amazing high-waist paints that were this beautiful rod brown color. They were a little long, so I did the honors and rolled them to my liking. Next, I found a girly plum lace top that I adored, with a key whole back (sorry I forgot to get a picture of that!). With the two colors together I managed to create a color-blocked piece, tying everything together with a cool blue belt. Interestingly enough, this outfit was a little out of my comfort zone; I'm normally "matchy" when it comes to my wear, but this night, I wanted to be fashion forward, and have my own sense of identity.
