BET Hip Hop Awards Gifting Suites Day Event

Friday night BET held an event at Harlem Nights to kick off the weekend for the Hip Hop awards which will be held tonight but aired at a later date. The event was filled with vendors and local artists displaying their talents. While there, the show video city was being filmed. The show apparently is a collaboration between MTV and BET in lieu of the awards. I even got a chance to be apart of the audience :) The countdown video show is meant to display local artists here in the Atlanta area.

As for my ensemble, I thought I would play up the touch of fall in the air and decided to go with a mustard colored pant, a black turtle neck and a scarf. An edgy clutch and leopard pumps added the right amount spunk to this otherwise casual, toned down ensemble.

 I got a chance to get a quick pic in with one of the local artist being featured on the show. The young group, MANNISH, raps, sings and as you can see are absolutely adorable. Check out their website here for more on these talented young men.
